For sale original MGB GT V8 in the original colour Tundra Green with an original Autumn Leaf interior. This GT was built from January 18 to February 7, 1974 and delivered new to the first English owner on August 1, 1974. A Heritage certificate is present.
MG produced a total of 1.856 MGB GT with a V8 engine and chrome bumpers between 1973 and 1974. Between 1974 and 1976 a total of 735 GT V8s were built with rubber bumpers. In total only 7 original left hand driven V8 GT were delivered, all other cars were all right hand drive.
This MGB GT V8 was bought by the current owner from the first owner in 2010. The original Driver’s Handbook MGB roadster and GT plus the original Driver’s Handbook MGB GT V8 are included with the car. Also present is the original Pre-Delivery Inspeciton document of September 1, 1974, executed by Valley Services from LLandysul.
Over the past 10 years, this GT V8 has been very well maintained and all invoices are present. Unique is that the key numbers stated on the Heritage certificate are also still present with the car. This is a very original MGB GT V8.
Paintwork is neat but not perfect, car drives very well and is a joy to drive with this V8. The interior is completely original and in a beautiful condition. Between 2010 and 2021, a total of approximately 15.000 km was driven with the MG with great pleasure.
The following options are available: the original Cast Alloy Wheels, also the spare wheel, original tools, radio, two outside mirrors, lockable fuel cap, tinted glass, and an overdrive.
The car comes with a sales folder in which a large part of the history of the car is described, invoices of work performed, a Heritage certificate, old English registration papers and old valuation reports. Everything very well documented.
