For sale Jaguar XK150 Drop Head Coupe (DHC), delivered with the 3.4 liter 6 cylinder engine with automatic gearbox in the color dark blue with a brown leather interior. This Jaguar XK150DHC was built on January 6, 1958 and then shipped on January 23, 1958 to the Netherlands and delivered there by the Dutch Jaguar importer Lagerwij’s from The Hague to the first Dutch owner. The numbers on the engine correspond to the existing Heritage Certificate.

In May 1957, Jaguar introduced its new model the XK150 in two versions, the Fixed Head Coupe and the Droped head Coupe, both replacing the XK140 series. The Roadster (OTS Open Two Seater) came on the market in March 1958.

All models used the XK140 chassis but with a much more modern body and it had a curved one-piece windshield for the first time. The interior was also modified in such a way that the walnut veneer was replaced by leather upholstery. Mechanically there were also important changes, mounted were 4 Dunlop write brakes and a brake servo, this in contrast to the drum brakes of the XK140.

The 3.4 liter engine was also further tuned and the SE specification with two carburetors delivered 210HP, there was also an S version available with 3 carburetors with a capacity of 250HP. In 1959 a 3.8 liter engine became available with 220 HP in the standard form and 265 HP in the “S” version. The production of all XK150 models ended in 1961.

Between 1958 and 1961 a total of 9,382 XK150 models were built, 2,672 of which were Drop Head Coupe models, of which 2,009 left-hand drive models were built.

This XK150DHC was bought by the current owner in 2004 in consultation with Jaguar Specialist Ben Kolvenbach from a man from Rotterdam who had started the restoration. Ben Kolvenbach has overhauled the engine and the current owner completed the restoration in 2006. Car has been repainted completely, a new interior has been installed and many parts have been replaced at the time. During the past 15 years, approximately 10,000 km have been driven with this DHC.

The following options have been fitted; EZ electric power steering, Motolita wooden sports steering wheel, burr walnut dashboard, odometer, exterior mirror, black mohair hood cover and two front fog lamps.
