For sale Austin Healey MKIII PH2 (BJ8) which was built between April 7 and 12 April, 1966 and delivered new on May 26, 1966 in Germany to the first owner, an American from Washington who worked in Germany.

A Heritage certificate is present and the chassis number, engine number and body number correspond with the numbers on the certificate. The original workshop manual of the first owner is also present.

Uniquely, the first owner owned the car for 34 years until 2004 and had driven a total of 38.735 miles with the Healey. In our extensive sales folder is a letter from the first owner in which he said that the car was for the last 30 years mainly on blocks in his garage. He always maintained the Healey very well and sold the car in good condition in 2004.

The second owner, a Florida man, owned the Healey from 2004 to 2011 and sold it to the current Dutch owner in 2011 with 40.665 miles.

In the Netherlands, the Healey was completely disassembled and completely restored between 2011 and 2018, many photos and invoices are present. There was in very good condition, hardly no welding on the body, which also applies to the mileage. We think the interior is also largely original, which is unique.

During the restoration, the engine, gearbox and overdrive were overhauled, the entire body was painted and there were also many new parts, such as all rubbers, wiring harness, relays, gaskets, water hoses, carpet set, etc. This Healey drives fantastic, after restoration it has been driven about 1.400 miles.

The following options are fitted: chrome 72 spoke wire wheels, chrome wing nuts, overdrive, adjustable steering column, original steering column lock (delivered for the German market) PL Lucas headlights, bullet mirror and an aluminium sump pan.

We offer this Healey for a fair price, the restoration costs are many times higher and other restored Healey’s are offered in the market for far above this price. In addition, this colour Golden Beige is also a very unique Austin Healey colour that you do not see often.

This Austin Healey MKIII is in our showroom. If you would like more information, detailed photos or if you would like to make an appointment, please contact Lex van Lammeren at or 0031-611-508738. We are very easy to reach from the airports of Amsterdam or Eindhoven. I look forward hearing from you.
