Spiritual father of the “Austin” Healey was Donald Healey. Donald Healey was a car man in heart and soul who occupies an important place in the history of the British automobile and sports car in particular. In March 1959 the Healey 3000 comes on the market.

This is a further development on the Austin Healey 100/6 and is equipped with a up to 2,912 cc drilled six-cylinder engine and disc brakes on the front wheels. We know this version as MK I and was available as four-seater version and as a two-seater.

This Austin Healey 3000 MKI is painted in the popular color Ice Blue with a beautiful dark blue leather interior and a dark blue vinyl soft top. Equipped with a 2,912 cc 6 cylinder in line engine and a 4 speed gearbox with electric overdrive.  Built on May 4 and 5, 1960 and newly delivered to St. Louis, Missouri, USA. There is a Heritagecertificate and the enginenumber corresponds to the engine number on the certificate.

This Healey was completely restored in the 90s and was purchased by the last owner in 2005, he has owned the Healey for 14 years. During this period the car has always been in a heated garage and the car has only been driven in nice weather. Documents such as old valuation reports and invoices are present in the sales folder that we have compiled.

This Austin Healey has the following options: chrome wire wheels, chrome wing nuts, loose aluminum side windows with bag, wooden Motolita sport steering wheel, adjustable steering column, lockable fuel cap and luxury license plates with chrome edges.

This Austin Healey is in our showroom. If you want more information or want to make an appointment, please contact Lex van Lammeren via or 0031-611-508738.
